About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the Darwin Convention Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 22000 standards
  • Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of management systems
  • Maintain our central library of controlled department documentation
  • Assist with annual ISO External Audits
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct ISO audits and inspections
  • Maintain the ISO Continuous Improvement Register
  • Attend monthly meetings and ensure minutes are maintained
  • Document and report incidents
  • Assist with review and updating of the Centre's Risk Management Manuals
  • Assist with month-end reporting
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in compliance, risk management, or internal audit. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key qualifications include:

  • 2+ years prior experience in a similar role
  • Excellent personal presentation and grooming
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Personable and courteous
  • Able to use initiative
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office

A satisfactory National Police Records Check is required for this role. Applicants must have working rights within Australia.
