Senior Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Coordinator to join our team at Deakin University. This is a critical role that requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the delivery of operational services, including human resources, finance, travel management, compliance, partnerships support, infrastructure, and information management.
- Manage CHL's workforce requirements by liaising with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and HR teams.
- Implement and maintain information management procedures for the Centre, delivering regular training and monitoring compliance across the team.
- Oversee procurement processes for CHL, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- A degree in business, commerce, or arts with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training preferred.
- Extensive experience in administration coordination or management roles, preferably within a tertiary institution, research institute, NGO, or similar organisation.
- Experience with HR and operations processes, particularly in high-volume and high-pressure environments.
- Knowledge of financial systems, governance, and risk management principles.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until December 2027, offering a competitive salary of AU$101,858 - AU$112,156 per annum, plus 17% superannuation. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work options.
