Job Title: Technical Operations Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Operations Expert to lead the efficient delivery of our services. This role involves proactively managing complex technical issues, delivering high-performance systems, and ensuring seamless service delivery in a 24/7 telecommunications environment.

This position entails overseeing, monitoring, and supporting all aspects of our technical infrastructure, including servers, networks, and ICT security. Providing guidance and support to colleagues is essential for effective improvement of services.

  • Oversight and monitoring of technical infrastructure, with provision of 2nd and 3rd level support as needed.
  • Guidance and support to colleagues to enhance services, identify dependencies, incidents, and constraints, technology, and process improvements.
  • Ensuring ongoing service delivery by prioritizing team workflow and managing complex and/or escalated issues.
  • Management and monitoring of systems and infrastructure to ensure high performance and availability.
  • Analysis of data and statistics for business report development and provision of recommendations for continual improvement to service delivery.
  • Establishment and maintenance of relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure ICT components and technical support meet our business needs.
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as required.

Nightly work may be necessary for tasks such as server OS patching.

Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud (deployment and management), Microsoft Server administration (MCSE desirable), practical knowledge of Microsoft SCCM/Intune and SharePoint, and a practical understanding of LAN, DHCP, and DNS networks are essential skills for this role.
