Job Title: Turbine Engine Specialist

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Turbine Engine Specialist, where you will play a key role in maintaining the safety and reliability of turbine engines across our global fleet.

You will work closely with engineering teams, OEMs, overhaul facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure our aircraft are mission-ready to bring help and hope to remote communities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in turbine engine maintenance and support, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert support on engine performance, health monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate overhauls, engine exchanges, and major repairs
  • Analyse data to track engine trends and performance
  • Contribute to audits, vendor evaluations, and configuration decisions
  • Support strategic decisions around fleet cost and life-cycle planning
  • Promote best practices for turbine engine maintenance across the organisation
  • Assist in developing training materials and provide technical support to field engineers
Requirements:
  • ICAO License applicable to MAF-operated turbine engine aircraft (PT6A preferred)
  • Strong understanding of turbine engine performance and reliability
  • Significant hands-on experience with turbine engines in the field
  • Experience with engine procurement and overhaul coordination
  • Ability to work in remote teams and communicate across cultures
  • Logical, thorough, and solutions-oriented approach
