
Aboriginal Health Educator

Flinders University seeks an exceptional Indigenous Education Specialist to deliver high-quality education and training that incorporates Central Australian Indigenous knowledges and cultural practices.
This role focuses on teaching and teaching-related activities, aligned with the university's strategic vision. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering an engaging learning experience, educational innovation, and supporting Indigenous students and communities in Central Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality education and training that incorporates Central Australian Indigenous knowledges and cultural practices.
- Support student orientation to Indigenous cultures and contexts, particularly during placements.
- Provide academic and logistical support to Indigenous students in Central Australia.
The successful candidate will hold cultural authority and be committed to delivering education grounded in Central Australian Indigenous knowledges and cultural practices.
Requirements:- Identification as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, recognised by an appropriate community body.
- A proven ability to deliver high-quality education and training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a record of effective student and community engagement.
- Ability to speak at least one Indigenous language of Central Australia.
