Waste Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to oversee our Process Operators in the collection, treatment, and recycling of liquid and hazardous waste.
- This role is based at our Narangba depot and requires strong leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring safe working practices and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Supervising and assisting in the training of Process Operators to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Preparing and documenting waste products for removal from site.
- Loading and unloading packaged waste vehicles.
- Daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment to prevent any potential hazards.
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor.
- A current Forklift licence with a minimum of 12 months of hands-on experience.
- Excavator and Loader tickets (highly advantageous).
- A current driver's licence Class C.
- A zero-harm safety mindset and good attitude towards work.
