Job Title: Process Operator/Labourer

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled process operator/labourer to join our team at Cleanaway. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of liquid and hazardous waste.

As a Process Operator/Labourer, your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading packaged waste vehicles, decanting, cleaning, re-packaging, storing, and disposing of packaged waste. You will also be responsible for sampling and treating packaged waste as directed and/or required, conducting waste sample analysis, and general site cleaning.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a machine/plant environment (preferable)
  • Experience operating machinery in an industrial environment (preferable)
  • Experience in waste processing and/or wastewater treatment facilities (advantageous)
  • Be fit and healthy, with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Chemical handling skills (favourable)
  • Current car licence
  • Forklift, excavator, loader, or HR licence advantageous
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug test
