Service Technician Job Description

The primary function of the Service Technician is to provide high-quality support to customers throughout the entire lifecycle of our equipment.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on supported equipment at customer sites, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues causing breakdowns by traveling to customer sites as required, applying expert knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Investigate and proactively correct problems where machines are not performing at required levels, leveraging analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Conduct machine services and rebuilds in our workshop as necessary, adhering to strict quality control measures.
  • Provide technical phone support to customers when onsite attendance is not possible, offering timely assistance and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Liaise with management regarding service-related matters within Australia, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Participate in machine-specific training courses as directed, enhancing technical expertise and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Maintain compliance with local safety guidelines and identify control risks while working on customer sites and MULTIVAC offices, prioritizing employee and customer well-being.
