Job Description:

We are seeking a Full-time Permanent Environment and Sustainability Coordinator to support the ongoing strategic development of Environmental, Sustainability and post-consumer Circular Economy efforts.

As an Environment and Sustainability Coordinator, you will position Salvos Stores as a leader in the Circular Economy and ensure that practices align with our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in contract administration, grant sourcing, supplier relationship management, reporting and operational support for inquiries relating to our Environment and Sustainability initiatives.
  • Work with an enthusiastic team with excellent values, whose desire to make a difference drives their daily lives.
  • Develop strategies and build a sustainable system with positive social and environmental outcomes.
  • Be an expert and deliver new knowledge and information to your team and organization as a whole.
  • Use business acumen to deliver recycled goods and know that profits help those in need.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

1. Passion for Environmental Sustainability and Circular Economy Management;

2. Desire to work in an organisation delivering positive social impact;

3. Proven experience in research, analysis, and database management, as well as managing projects;

4. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience;

5. Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills.
