Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate 2D and 3D electrical models using AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Support electrical design for HV and LV systems, including primary and secondary schematics.
  • Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines within a federated environment.
  • Lead model coordination meetings to resolve design clashes.
  • Integrate GIS and LiDAR spatial data in design workflows where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and ISO frameworks.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering teams to meet project timelines.
  • Contribute to workflow improvements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Experience in electrical design for renewable energy and substation projects.
  • Strong understanding of HV and LV systems.
  • Experience working with federated BIM models and common data environments.
  • Confident leading model coordination meetings.
  • Familiar with GIS tools and LiDAR data integration.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 55000 practices.
  • Experience using Navisworks or similar coordination tools.
  • Exposure to scripting/automation.
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
