Data Centre Security Professional

We require a skilled Data Centre Security Officer to join our team in Sydney. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our clients' data centres.
The ideal candidate will have a strong security background, with experience in conducting thorough checks on personnel entering and exiting restricted areas. They must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and provide high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct security screening of all personnel entering and exiting a restricted area
- Ensure compliance with all Security Procedures & Policies
- Identify prohibited items and prevent them from being introduced to or removed from a restricted area
- Issue and audit security visitor and contractor badges in line with security policies
- Raise and modify Access Requests using client software programs
- Escalate and report on incidents and provide daily activity reports in writing
- Patrol assigned areas and report issues to the regional control room
