About the Role

The Data Centre Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the physical security of one of our Sydney data centers. This includes managing access control systems, guard force operations, and CCTV monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage security operations at an AWS data center
  • Direct contract guard force operations
  • Manage security incidents and conduct post-incident investigations
  • Support business continuity responses to emergencies
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in security or a related field
  • 2+ years of commercial or industrial work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Experience working in a high-security environment (preferred)
  • Conflict resolution training (preferred)
  • Experience performing security risk assessments (preferred)
