Job Title: Elevated Work Platform Operator

Ongoing work is available for an all-around EWP Operator who can handle various tasks safely and effectively.

The job requires operating and maintaining elevated work platforms, such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, cherry pickers, and scaffolds, according to manufacturer's specifications and safety regulations.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting and performing routine maintenance on equipment, including daily pre-operational checks, lubricating equipment, and reporting any defects or malfunctions.
  • Safely positioning and securing elevated work platforms in order to access work areas and perform tasks.
  • Communicating with team members and supervisors to coordinate work schedules, equipment needs, and safety procedures.
  • Following safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), using safety harnesses and lanyards, and properly securing equipment and materials.
  • Operating controls to raise, lower, extend, or rotate elevated work platforms in a manner that is safe and effective for performing tasks.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A determined work attitude.
  • White Card.
  • Asbestos Awareness.
  • EWP license.
