Job Opportunity: Technical Support Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Representative to join our team at Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise the availability, reliability, and productivity of Komatsu equipment
  • Provide technical support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for Komatsu fleet
  • Report on regular machine issues and create detailed technical documentation
  • Develop recommendations and resolutions for equipment performance issues

Requirements:

  • Cert III or Equivalent in Electrotechnology (Electrician) & QLD Electrical License
  • Experience working as a Field Service Technician with exposure to breakdown, repairs, and diagnostics
  • Previous experience working in a mine-site is preferred
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical drawings
  • Understanding of maintenance targets, including availability, reliability, parts management, and component life cycle management
  • Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complicated hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical technical problems
  • Current driver's license and good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work unsupervised
