The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing seismic design solutions for our clients. This is a varied and challenging role that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and Implementation: Develop and implement seismic design solutions for our clients, working closely with our engineering team and project managers.
  2. Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all design and implementation work is completed on time and to budget.
  3. Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections to ensure that our designs are being implemented correctly and that our clients are satisfied with the results.
  4. Research and Development: Conduct research and development to improve our seismic design solutions and stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with our engineering team, project managers, and clients to ensure that all projects are completed successfully.

Requirements

  1. Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Structural, Seismic, or Mechanical Engineer.
  2. Seismic Knowledge: Strong knowledge of seismic design principles and practices.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in FEA and advanced engineering software, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
  4. Travel: Some travel around Australia may be required, but this will be minimal.
