About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with Santos' CSG Subsurface team in Brisbane. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with development geologists and geophysicists to integrate geological and geophysical work with reservoir engineering expertise.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct reservoir engineering analysis of field and well production data and pressure information.
- Analyse production and subsurface datasets to identify reservoir management insights and opportunities.
- Provide reservoir engineering input into field development projects using appropriate reservoir models.
- Maintain and develop reservoir models to support long-term business plans and reserve processes.
- Ensure annual reservoir data gathering programmes are completed as required.
- Identify opportunities to optimise production from existing wells and develop remedial action plans.
- Build development well inventory in 'Development Ready' areas.
- Ensure subsurface technical work is appropriately assured through formal and informal technical reviews.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a self-motivated and collaborative individual with the ability to work autonomously and with key stakeholders.Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the petroleum industry, with a focus on production or reservoir engineering.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team or as an individual contributor.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with key stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree-qualified subsurface professional with relevant work experience in a subsurface team environment.
