Private Credit Fund Manager

The Private Credit Fund Manager will support and oversee the day-to-day operations and reporting for private credit funds and fulfill other ad-hoc projects working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers. This role will involve liaising with internal teams and third-party administrators on operational processes, maintaining controls and procedures, fund accounting, and client reporting.

Responsibilities:
  1. Review financial statements, accounting packages, and supporting work papers for complex clients, including distribution calculations, management fees, carry interest, expenses, capital calls, and interest payments to investors.
  2. Manage fund launch processes, working closely with internal teams and administrators to ensure timely delivery and reallocation of funds.
  3. Produce investor reporting packages, including investment manager's reports, portfolio details reports, and ad-hoc reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
  4. Monitor investment activity, review cash flow projections, and manage liquidity requirements.
  5. Provide support to investment teams across deal transactions and fund closing processes.
  6. Ensure fund operating expenses and budgets align with documentation and perform quarterly budget reviews.
  7. Prepare and review board packs for attendance and presentations at board meetings to fund directors.
  8. Analyze performance trends, including IRRs, multiples, asset levels, and share classes, using hedging strategies and portfolio analysis.
  9. Assist team management and resources, helping train team members and educate internal support teams on fund knowledge and operational processes.
  10. Support the sales team in responding to regular client inquiries and requests.
  11. A commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships.
  12. Experience in ad-hoc project work, system implementation/upgrades, process improvements, and effecting change where needed.
  13. Daily cash management and coordination of drawings on credit facilities and from investor drawdowns.
  14. Preparation of monthly information on KRI's for senior management analysis, attribution, and comment on operational performance.
  15. Review work and reporting produced by junior accountants, assist with developing and training new/junior accountants, identifying knowledge gaps, and provide feedback to managers.
  16. Act as main contact with internal and external stakeholders for investment and operational queries.
  17. Oversee annual financial statements and supporting schedules, working with internal and external parties for external audits.
