Expert Employment Relations Specialist

Drive industrial reform and manage complex cases with expertise in employment and industrial relations.

This role will require the ability to identify and mitigate risk, ensuring compliance with relevant workplace laws and industrial instruments.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for employment and industrial relations, aligned with commercial priorities and targets.
  • Ensure compliance audit framework is developed and implemented to identify and mitigate industrial and employment relations risks.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders based on solutions and reliable advice.
  • Monitor and report on external industrial relations environment to ensure effective operations.

Responsibilities also include benchmarking competitors Enterprise Agreements, supporting strategic direction, consulting with People Leaders, and managing HR policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate has significant experience (10+ years) in Workplace Relations/Employee Relations, a relevant degree, and excellent communications skills.

They must have up-to-date knowledge on relevant legislation and the ability to influence and work collaboratively with employees at all levels across the organization.
