Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to support ADF personnel who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking a holistic care approach, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate the rehabilitation journey
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
  • Cultivate strong relationships with various stakeholders, including the individual, medical specialists, treatment providers and allied health professionals
  • Develop, implement and monitor personalized rehabilitation plans

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA or AASW)
  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for helping individuals rehabilitate and occupational rehabilitation experience an asset
