About This Opportunity:

As a Residential Support Worker, you will work within our Therapeutic Community Model of Care, focusing on providing high-quality support and treatment for clients.

Your key responsibilities will include offering psychosocial support, supervising medication self-administration, supporting the residential timetable and ensuring appointments are met.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver coordinated support and contribute to the smooth running of our residential program.

Selection Criteria:

  • Rlevant VET qualification or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of or experience with supporting persons with AOD support needs, mental health support needs and/or co-existing support needs
  • Understanding and/or experience of the Therapeutic Community Model of Care
  • Demonstrable experience working in a residential or similarly complex program or facility
  • Experience working in a non-government AOD treatment program, particularly in the Therapeutic Community model
  • Experience with group facilitation
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to deliver coordinated support
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite and Client Management Systems
  • Understanding of the principles of the Privacy Act and its practical implementation in service delivery
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implement the principles of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
  • Ability to obtain a current Criminal History Check and Working With Children clearance
  • Unlimited right to live and work in Australia
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
