Production Operations Manager

This role involves ensuring that production quality assurance processes are in place and complied with. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining records, managing team members and adhering to company policies.
The Role:
- Assign location of production staff during production
- Ensure all production staff comply with the company dress code
- Check ingredients and packaging have been stored in correct location
- Verify labels are accurate and up-to-date
- Carry out daily quality GMP checks
- Set up and sanitize production lines
- Ensure cleanliness of factory and office at end of day
- Some occasional heavy lifting required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear orders and instructions to team members
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Build and maintain relationships with team members
Requirements:
- Proven ability to lead and coach team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
