Lead Legal Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Legal Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and delivering the Legal Operations function, including the design and execution of the Legal Operations Roadmap.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute the L&G strategy and performance plans.
  • Support the General Counsel in delivering the Legal Transformation initiative, including governance, process, and technology enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and metrics to measure progress against business plans, budgets, risk controls, and resourcing strategies.
  • Drive the implementation and embedding of the Legal function's strategic priorities and annual objectives aligned to APA's overall strategy.
  • Foster a positive and engaging culture within L&G through effective planning, execution, and performance monitoring.

About the Team

The Legal, Governance & Regulatory function exists to support APA to manage legal risk through the delivery of independent, commercially orientated, cost-effective, high-quality, and timely legal advice and services. We have a strong culture of continuous improvement and working towards Net Zero with the introduction of renewable green gas into the Gas Networks.

Other Information

This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne. The successful candidate will have a degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Law, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. They will also have proven experience leading programs and projects driving organisational change and developing and implementing process improvement initiatives to deliver organisational efficiency.
