About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Agitator Driver to join our team in Mudgee. As an Agitator Driver, you will be responsible for delivering concrete to various locations, following prescribed delivery schedules, and ensuring timely deliveries to construction sites.

You will also be required to inspect vehicles before and after each trip, report any maintenance or safety issues, comply with all traffic regulations, maintain a clean driving record, adhere to health and safety guidelines, provide excellent customer service, and maintain accurate records of deliveries and paperwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate agitator trucks to deliver concrete to various locations.
  • Follow prescribed delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries to construction sites.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Comply with all traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, both on the road and at job sites.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building positive relationships with clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and paperwork.
Requirements
  • A valid and clean HR driver's license and proven experience as a professional driver with minimum 6-months on-road HR experience, ideally with experience in operating agitator trucks.
  • A strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • The physical ability to load and unload concrete as necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
  • A strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays if required.
