Project Coordinator Job Description

This role is centered around managing IT projects from conception to delivery. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for driving projects forward and ensuring their success.

  • Oversee the coordination of IT project delivery, focusing on planning, timelines, dependencies, and milestones using appropriate methodologies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, monitoring RAID logs and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support procurement activities, including documentation development and vendor evaluation.
  • Monitor budgets and resources, tracking expenditure and collaborating with Finance for accurate reporting.
  • Facilitate change management and project handover, contributing to planning, communications, training, and benefits realization tracking.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex IT projects.
  • Developing and implementing project plans, including resource allocation and budgeting.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders, including project status and progress.
Key Qualifications:
  • Strong project management expertise and experience in coordinating IT projects.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
