We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our healthcare team in Gladstone, Queensland. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
About the Role:- Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform clinical procedures, such as wound care, ear syringing, and venipuncture.
- Conduct health screenings and assessments, including chronic disease management and preventive care.
- Provide patient education and counselling on various health topics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and referrals.
- Enrolled/Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with AHPRA.
- Previous experience working as a General Practice Nurse or in a primary care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems.
