Primary Care Nurse Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team in Gladstone, Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform clinical procedures, such as wound care, ear syringing, and venipuncture.
- Conduct health screenings and assessments, including chronic disease management and preventive care.
- Provide patient education and counselling on various health topics, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and referrals.
- Enrolled/Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with AHPRA.
- Previous experience working as a General Practice Nurse or in a primary care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
