The role of a Nutrition Support Officer is to provide valuable assistance to the Nutrition team in the daily management of product formulations. This includes contributing to ration formulation meetings, conducting research on ingredients, and collaborating with operations teams to monitor quality management objectives.

This 12-month fixed-term contract offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and diligent individual to make a meaningful contribution to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide input and advice into daily and monthly ration formulation meetings with production teams.">
  • Conduct ingredient research, analysis, and selection for all products to ensure compliance with finished product labeling, production costs, and fitness for purpose.">
  • Assist the Nutrition team with system integration and required reports.">
  • Collaborate with operations teams to monitor and support quality management objectives across all sites.">

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have a strong passion for animal health and nutrition, solid data analysis skills, and financial acumen. You should be results-driven with a customer-centric mindset and possess excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • ">
  • Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Animal Production) or equivalent.">
  • Previous experience working within Agri-industry in feed formulation or animal nutrition roles.">
  • Knowledge and understanding of animal health and nutrition for all species, particularly ruminant and equine.">
  • Data management and analysis skills.">
  • Exposure to Feed Formulation Systems preferred.">
