We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Kmart Group. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and driving sales growth in your assigned department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
- Monitor and control department expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve overall store performance.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a big box or high-volume retail environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
