Cement Australia is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join their team and embark on a two-year structured program that combines hands-on project experience, formal training, and one-on-one mentoring.

The role offers exposure to real projects and operations across multiple sites, allowing the successful candidate to develop technical capability and prepare for future leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support site-wide hazardous area compliance reviews.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of end-of-life electrical system upgrades.
  • Contribute to electrical protection assessments and arc flash studies.
  • Deliver capital projects such as PCS server upgrades, coal unloading system improvements, and I/O enhancements.
  • Participate in the modernisation of legacy systems and strengthen electrical reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across departments to ensure projects meet technical, safety, and operational requirements.
About You

Qualifications:

  • Completed or near completion of a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
  • Interest in complex infrastructure projects and hands-on problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
