The Enrolled Nurse plays a pivotal role in leading the care team and coordinating care within a designated section of residence. As a key position, this role requires dedication to understanding the residential aged care environment and standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the care team
- Coordinating care within allocated sections
- Recognising and escalating deteriorating residents
- Providing safe and high-quality care in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards
Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse is mandatory. One year of experience as an enrolled nurse in a residential aged care setting is desirable, although new entrants will be considered.
Required qualifications and skills include:
- Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
- One year of experience in a residential aged care setting (desirable)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- NDIS Worker Checks or willingness to obtain
This position offers competitive remuneration, including up to $36.57 per hour, 12% superannuation, casual loadings, Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging options, and a Meals & Entertainment Card.
