We are seeking a highly experienced Professor of Nursing to join our institution and contribute to the development of research, scholarship, and teaching.
The role involves collaborating with our School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Paramedicine to develop relevant research and scholarship, leading a research program centered on hospital health service priorities.
Key areas of focus include translating evidence into clinical practice to improve patient outcomes and health systems. You will work between two base locations: our Melbourne campus and St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
About the Role:
- Current registration in AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Proven expertise in producing high-quality publications and competitive grants.
- Demonstrated experience working on research and clinical projects, including academic supervision of students.
- A significant academic profile and research profile in higher education.
What We Offer:
- Academic Level E position.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable.
