We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team of educators, implementing modern educational methods within a creative, interactive curriculum.

The successful candidate will lecture students through a mix of theoretical and advanced simulation exercises held in modern simulation rooms and clinical wards.

Key responsibilities include designing and delivering undergraduate curriculum to students across nursing programs.

You will work closely with our team of educators, contributing to the Faculty of Health Science, Community and Social Studies' commitment to providing a progressive teaching environment with strong industry links.

In this position, you will have an active involvement in research, helping advance our academic community's progress and expansion.

About You:

  • Postgraduate qualifications - Master of Nursing, Education, or relevant specialty area
  • Possess high-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management, organisational, and planning skills
  • Familiarity with simulation is essential as this is embedded into each year of nursing
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching higher education students
  • Ability to positively respond to change and adapt to new situations and requirements

You will also possess:

  • Current registration with NMBA | AHPRA
  • Extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in nursing education within higher education along with writing and delivering undergraduate curriculum
