About the Position

As a key academic leader in nursing and midwifery, you will drive strategic initiatives in teaching, research, and curriculum development within a reputable institution.

  • Lead curriculum innovation and unit design across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, enhancing educational outcomes and student experience.
  • Provide research leadership aligned with the institution's strategic plan, driving impactful projects that advance knowledge and practice in nursing and midwifery.
  • Supervise Higher Degree Research students and sessional staff, fostering their growth and development as educators and researchers.
  • Act as Course Chair or Deputy Head of Program when required, overseeing program delivery and ensuring academic excellence.

  • A growing research profile with evidence of external funding and impactful publications is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Check is required.
