About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Centre Director to lead our team at Pulse. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment, driving growth and positive change for our families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy levels and drive business growth.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring a high-quality educational program that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and reflects best practices in early childhood education.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, staff, schools, and the community.
- Ensure the centre operates in compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and procedures, including licensing requirements.
Requirements:
- Diploma in ECEC or ACECQA approved equivalent.
- Experience working in early childhood education, including previous assistant leadership or management roles.
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability and willingness to stay up to date with changes within the Early Years and to continue to learn and develop your skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing early childhood education and care.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Working With Children Check clearance.
