Medical Device Governance Program Lead

We are committed to providing leadership in safety and quality to enhance patient care in NSW.

The primary focus of this role is to promote and support improved clinical care, safety, and quality across the NSW public health system.

  • Leverage your expertise to develop, implement, and monitor systems and processes
  • Foster engagement with diverse stakeholders and facilitate input to drive collaborative solutions
  • Manage complex issues and provide strategic advice to inform decision-making

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline or equivalent, coupled with extensive experience in quality and safety analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of the NSW Health clinical environment, clinical risk, and quality management requirements
  • Expertise in policy and legislation impacting medical device governance
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex change at a large scale or statewide level
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Capability in planning and managing change to meet business objectives and capacity to lead projects within tight timeframes
  • Strong written and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and exercise independent judgement
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing, monitoring, and evaluating implementation to ensure safe patient outcomes
