We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Developer to join our dynamic ServiceNow support team. In this rewarding role, you will enjoy the opportunity to provide second-level support and platform solutions using ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake system maintenance and assist in application upgrades.
- Perform and document system configuration and development according to design guidelines.
- Comply with established change management procedures and service levels.
- Investigate and resolve systems support issues within service level timelines.
- Interpret and contribute to business requirements for build activities.
- Participate in quality assurance activities including unit testing and contribute to test plans and scripts.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and standards of high-quality practices including version control management.
- Understand roles and responsibilities within the team and how the team supports the organisation.
- Work collaboratively to achieve effective outcomes with a focus on customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in system administration and request fulfilment.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and ability to apply it to system support, configuration, and change management activities.
- Apply problem-solving skills to address incidents and problems in accordance with SLA.
- Work collaboratively sharing and seeking knowledge and expertise to achieve team and stakeholder goals.
- Demonstrate communication and negotiation skills with different stakeholder audiences.
- Demonstrate experience with ITSM practices such as Incident management, Problem management, Request fulfilment, and Change management.
