About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Executive to lead our credit oversight function. As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of our credit risk management processes.

In this role, you will work closely with senior management and stakeholders to provide critical insights and recommendations on credit risk matters. Your comprehensive portfolio and thematic reviews will assess credit quality and identify potential risks.

You will oversee individual file reviews, manage credit lessons learned, and provide recommendations and reporting. Your thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices will shine as you ensure compliance and excellence in our credit risk management.

Engaging with stakeholders, you will work closely with business units to understand their credit risk assessment and management processes, providing guidance and constructive feedback. People leadership will also form a critical part of your role, where you will lead and coach a team of 4 direct reports.

About You

We are looking for an individual with significant experience in credit risk management. Your proven track record in a senior risk management role within the banking sector showcases your strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong leadership and team management abilities. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills enable you to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Your sound knowledge of credit policy and processes ensures thorough assessment and mitigation of credit risks. You are capable of making informed decisions under pressure, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex situations with confidence.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is AU$140,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
