Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joinery Foreman to oversee joinery installations across commercial projects. The ideal candidate will champion safety and quality while building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage site coordination, including installers, deliveries, labor, and logistics.
  • Ensure reworks meet high standards and all project closeouts are completed on time.
  • Create and manage installation schedules across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with site teams on joinery loadouts and scheduling.
  • Represent the company at subcontractor site meetings.
  • Coordinate joinery deliveries with the Project Manager.
  • Conduct site measures and setouts to ensure installation readiness.
  • Liaise with service trades to keep works progressing smoothly.
  • Monitor and resolve site defects.
  • Sign off ITPs and ensure all installations meet the company's quality benchmarks.
  • Assist with joinery installs as needed.
  • Review and approve fortnightly invoices for installers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a supervisory or PM role within commercial joinery, preferably on medium-rise apartment projects.
  • Relevant trade qualification in carpentry or joinery.
  • Deep commitment to quality craftsmanship and doing things the right way.
  • Strong focus on safety, always leading by example.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to get involved at every level.
  • Passion for learning and taking on challenges that grow skills and career.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
