We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our active Build-Dev team in Brisbane, QLD. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing high end residential townhouse construction projects, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality work.

Build-Dev is a locally owned and operated construction and development company, dedicated to delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. We specialize in mid to high-end duplexes and townhouses across the Gold Coast and Brisbane, managing multiple projects per year. We are looking for a motivated professional to join our team and contribute to our continued growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate progress
  • Enforce compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and guidelines
  • Monitor and inspect work in progress to identify and address any issues or concerns
  • Manage the allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and labour, to maximise efficiency
  • Provide guidance and support to construction workers, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the project, including timesheets, site diaries, safety management and quality control reporting via BuildPass and LoopLogic.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness
  • Carpentry experience and qualification is desired as well as a can-do attitude to assist trades in various aspects of work where required such as fix-outs, cladding etc.

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (5+ years) as a Site Supervisor on multi-residential projects or in a similar site management role
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find practical solutions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in the use of construction management software and technologies
  • Track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget
  • Qualifications in carpentry, construction management, or a related field would be highly desirable
