We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance.
  • Provide hands-on support by performing repairs and maintenance as required across the property.
  • Supervise and manage key service areas including, but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security control systems, hydraulic services, and approved contractor works.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) best practices at all times.
  • Oversee stock control and supplier management to maintain efficient operations.
  • Prepare quotes, schedule, and manage Capital Expenditure (Capex) requests.
  • Support the Hotel Manager in the recruitment and development of the Maintenance department team.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or equivalent.
  • Previous hands-on experience in maintenance/facilities management, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
  • Experience implementing a preventative maintenance program.
  • Sound MS Office skills (including Excel spreadsheets and word documents).
  • A passion for delivering exceptional, proactive service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication combined with impeccable presentation.
