EHS Professional

The EHS professional provides expert guidance on workplace health and safety matters, ensures compliance with legislation and standards, and leads the implementation and continuous improvement of the EHS Management System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support business leaders in building and delivering EHS activities.
  • Lead and deliver orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Support people leaders and their teams on health and safety programs and risk assessment.
  • Drive EHS performance metrics and reports.
  • Conduct regular hazard inspections, audit sites, and participate in Gemba walks.
  • Draft safety alerts and provide workplace EHS briefings.
  • Manage return-to-work processes and associated documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Formal qualifications in workplace health and safety.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation codes and standards.
  • Previous experience working in high-risk environments with office-based and field teams.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Proven experience in WHS roles.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and management systems.
  • Able to support and lead WHS initiatives.
