Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Relationship Manager to join our Commercial Banking team in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a relationship builder with a passion for nurturing client relationships and driving new business. As a Strategic Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients and retaining their business through excellent client service.

You will use your network and referral partners to identify and pursue new opportunities, gain an in-depth understanding of complex client needs, and engage product specialists to deliver a broad range of financial solutions.

Additionally, you will drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring, and negotiation of complex solutions, and continue to build your profile and presence on behalf of CommBank across the region.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Solid experience in building and leading a successful Small Business or Commercial Banking portfolio and lending above $1m;
  • A deep understanding of banking products and services;
  • Highly skilled in credit and comfortable in financial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial documents and the underlying cash-flow drivers;
  • Pride yourself in building relationships through excellent service and driving new business.

The segment we focus on is businesses that turnover between $3m - $15m or $1m - $3m in commercial lending and delivering on a range of needs and requirements, including cash flow, capital, wealth, risk management, and investment advice.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus benefits such as flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative work environment.
