Job Title: Desktop Support Officer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Officer to provide technical assistance to our customers in Sydney CBD and other locations around the city. This role involves providing desktop support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring operating systems, and communicating effectively with users.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support for desktop computers, software, and peripherals
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, including hardware, software, and network problems
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop operating systems and software

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an IT service desk role, in-house or customer facing
  • An interest or experience with technology, particularly in a Microsoft environment
  • IT Qualifications/Certifications (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong technical literacy

This is a contract position with an ASAP start and potential to extend, depending on performance and capacity. Work is ad-hoc in nature, therefore there are NO guaranteed hours. Shifts will be conducted between 8:30 - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
