Cafe Manager Role

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Cafe Manager to lead our cafe and deliver exceptional food and beverage service. This is a unique opportunity to innovate and improve existing menu options while upholding licensing compliance for alcohol service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all operations, ensuring exceptional service and quality control.
  2. Innovate and improve existing menu options tailored for Deluxe guests.
  3. Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships for the cafe and bar.
  4. Uphold licensing compliance for alcohol service, including RSA and RMLV certification.
  5. Train, mentor, and manage the team to embody Deluxe hospitality standards.
  6. Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and customer service standards.
  7. Drive sales and guest satisfaction through creative promotions and menu enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues) certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in hospitality, cafe, or licensed venue management.
  • PASSION for menu innovation and continual improvement.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
