Primary Responsibilities
- Conceive and develop original news stories and concepts
- Deliver timely political news reports
- Keep an accurate and current news calendar
- Submit compelling articles within tight deadlines
- Build and nurture relationships with key political figures
- Coordinate with the Chief of Staff (Politics) on daily news coverage and significant events
- React to urgent news situations outside of scheduled hours as necessary
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of two years of experience in journalism or newsroom roles, with a focus on political reporting

- Prior experience in covering breaking news
