Senior Community Work Supervisor

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Department of Justice and Community Safety as a Senior Community Work Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing individuals completing community work tasks, mentoring new team members, and conducting site inspections to assess hazards. They will also provide expert workplace health and safety advice, guidance, and instruction.
- Oversee individuals completing community work tasks
- Mentor new team members and induct them to the role
- Conduct site inspections to assess hazards
- Provide expert workplace health and safety advice, guidance, and instruction
Our department works closely with government agencies and non-government organizations to provide opportunities for participants to undertake unpaid work as part of their community-based sentence imposed by the Courts of Victoria.
We are looking for someone with exceptional leadership, conflict management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills who can demonstrate empathy and cultural awareness.
As a Senior Community Work Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the safety of the community and contribute to the rehabilitation of participants.
