- Integrates communication protocols, including Ethernet and serial, to facilitate seamless data exchange.
- Designs software architectures for real-time constraints, processing throughput, and concurrency, meeting stringent system requirements.
- Firmware bring-up of new electronics designs, streamlining the development process.
- Develops and maintains build automation tools, enhancing team productivity and efficiency.
- Participates in peer review of code, designs, and project plans, promoting collaborative excellence.
- Writes and executes unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, ensuring robust system functionality.
- Gathers, analyzes, and workshops requirements, driving informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2-4 years of Embedded Linux and C programming experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High proficiency in understanding software flow and interaction between software and electronic components.
- Moderate proficiency programming in ANSI standard C.
- Familiarity with building and cross-compiling open-source projects from scratch.
- Familiarity with Yocto and building Linux from source.
- Familiarity with OOP, SOLID, GRASP, Design Patterns, and refactoring.
