Business Risk Manager Job Description

This role supports the facilitation of first line business risk management, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and risk management objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support business risk management for legal entities and related business units in Australia
  • Act as control reviewer for incidents in the incident capture management system
  • Understand and review control frameworks associated with business units, processes, and legal entities
  • Manage and analyse reporting for issues, incidents, and regulatory change management
  • Review policy and procedure documents and assist with implementation
  • Manage conflicts of interest program and perform Conflict Manager role
  • Coordinate Legal Entity governance programs and activities to support regulatory compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in financial services and regulatory obligations
  • Preferred knowledge and experience in risk management
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communications skills
  • Effective time management skills with ability to work within deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and collaboratively across multiple business
