About the Role:
You'll be part of our kitchen and servery team, which plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in meal preparation, presentation, and serving, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, and collaborating with the broader team to provide holistic support to residents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or aged care (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence
- Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (or willingness to learn)
