Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Airfreight Operator to join our team at DP World Australia Limited.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage day-to-day operations for key clients, from bookings and processing shipments to liaising with transport and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process all shipments for our clients, ensuring seamless coordination with appointed service providers.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of all shipments, providing timely activity reporting and key dates to clients.
  • Collaborate with our Procurement team to secure best rates for clients and meet their requirements.
  • Prepare and approve documents, including Freight bookings and AWB for Export.
  • Input and update all booking and shipment details into DP World's system, managing any amendments.
  • Arrange and monitor customs clearance and other regulatory releases for shipments.
  • Understand job costs and approve supplier invoices for clients.
  • Consolidate all costs and finalize shipment invoicing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Export or Import Air operations.
  • 1-2 years in customer-facing roles.
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing customer shipments – Export Air.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve issues.
  • Cargowise (Wise-Tech) experience and knowledge advantageous.
